Lauren Smith, Angelo State, Jr., OF, Waxahatchie, Texas — Smith went 7-for-12 with a double, triple and home run, the latter coming off LSC preseason pitcher of the year Briana Sanchez in a 7-1 win, as the No. 5 Rambelles went 3-2 for the week. She also drew five walks.

ENMU nominee

Josette Aguirre, Sr., OF, Moriarty — Went 6-for-14 in five games last week, with two doubles, two RBIs and two runs scored.

Pitcher

Peyton Mosley, Abilene Christian, So., RHP, Coppell, Texas — Mosley recorded a pair of wins against No. 19 West Texas A&M, allowing seven hits and one run combined in a pair of complete games to lower her earned run average to 1.92. She struck out a season-high seven in Friday's win over the Lady Buffs.

Katie Ramsay, Fr., RHP, Keller, Texas — Posted her first win of the season last week in a relief appearance against New Mexico Highlands. She also went 7-for-18 at the plate with two homers and five RBIs.
