My turn: Catching up on TV

OK, I admit it. I now see the addictive qualities of Netflix, which I failed to understand before.

I recently inherited a new roommate and with this roommate came Netflix. I've never had the network of unlimited television shows and movies before, but I've heard about its addictive qualities. Now I know why.

I'm officially hooked. I'm catching up on shows I lost track of after seasons two and three and seeing movies I haven't enjoyed in quite awhile.

Along with my new-found entertainment, other activities I was able to enjoy last weekend were a night of dancing with friends and eating Indian cuisine for the first time with co-workers. Big thanks to my co-worker's mother, who is visiting from India and was nice enough to make the meal.

I was also able to enjoy my first experience watching bronco riding at the Clovis rodeo Saturday night. That is definitely an exciting activity to watch.

Sadly, I missed out on Heritage Days due to being gone most of Saturday but I did hear on the radio that it was one of the biggest turnouts chamber officials had ever seen.
