Philip Henry, a 6-foot-8 forward from Marlton, N.J., has signed a letter of intent to play basketball this year at Eastern New Mexico University.
Henry played at Highland (Kan.) Community College last season and helped the Scotties reach the NJCAA Division II national tournament at Danville, Ill. He averaged nine points and six rebounds.
"Phillip brings athleticism, size and a strong desire to continue to develop as a player," fourth-year ENMU men's coach Andrew Helton said. "He has the ability to be effective offensively playing on the perimeter from the high post area, and in the paint.
"Also, he has the versatility to help us defensively on both opposing post and perimeter players."
ENMU went 14-14 under Helton last season, losing to West Texas A&M in the first round of the Lone Star Conference tournament.
