Difference-makers: Fort Sumner, Dallas McDaniel and Michael Giannini had touchdown runs in the first and third quarters. Tucumcari, Saul Moriel returned an interception 65 yards to break a 14-14 tie in the first minute of the fourth quarter. … Zach Hurd rushed for 94 yards, including a 58-yard TD run which gave the Rattlers a 14-6 halftime lead.

Difference: The Roughnecks' defense held Farwell to nine first downs and 174 yards, keeping the Steers off the scoreboard until less than two minutes remained in the game.
Difference-makers: Farwell, senior QB Collin Christian carried 15 times for 110 yards and broke up the shutout on a 34-yard TD run late in the game. Sundown, Chance Hinson rumbled for 266 yards on 25 carries and three TDs, including a 79-yarder midway through the first period to open the scoring.
Of note: Sundown compiled 361 total yards in the game, all but 16 coming on the ground. … The Steers saw their three-game winning streak come to an end.

Difference: The Mules quickly turned the battle of unbeatens into a rout as senior QB Caleb Wood ran for one touchdown and threw for two in a first half which ended with Muleshoe cruising 34-0. Wood threw another touchdown pass in the second half.
Difference-makers: Joel Regalado rushed for 164 yards, including an 83-yarder in the final minute of the half for the Mules, while Junior Baca added 154 yards and added TD runs of 8 and 36 yards. … Ray Martinez caught two TD passes from Wood, covering 12 and 27 yards.

Difference: Dora, ranked No. 1 in 6-man, dominated the second quarter en route a 71-32 halftime lead, then scored twice early in the third to end it. San Jon/Grady was ranked fourth in 6-man.
Difference-makers: Senior WR/DE Lane Carrasco caught passes for around 150 yards and three touchdowns for Dora. He also had several sacks on defense and returned an interception for a touchdown to end the game on the 50-point rule. … Junior RB/MLB Jestin Watson rushed for about 150 yards and three TDs, while senior QB/DE Tyler Sites rushed for more than 100 yards and threw for more than 300.
