Last outing: The Flying Queens last played on Wednesday, routing Arlington Baptist College 96-14 at Plainview, Texas. The Zias have been off since a 71-41 loss to Southern Nazarene on Saturday in the Grand Canyon Tip-Off Classic at Phoenix.

Last meeting: It's been almost exactly 12 years to the day. WBU defeated the Zias 63-52 at Plainview on Nov. 21, 2000,, and the Flying Queens lead the all-time series 3-1.

Notes: Despite Wednesday's blowout win, the Flying Queens are outscoring opponents roughly 68-55 for the season. … Angeleigh Davis, a 5-foot-9 junior G, is the only WBU player in double figures at 13.4 ppg. Six players reached double digits against Arlington Baptist, led by 5-11 sophomore F Aubrey Pedigo with 16. … The teams have faced one common opponent — Oklahoma Panhandle State, both in their season openers. WBU defeated the Aggies 80-52 on Nov. 1 at Plainview, while the Zias lost 55-49 on Nov. 9 at Goodwell, Okla. … Senior G Hannah Altheide leads the Zias in scoring at 9.7 ppg, but no one else is above 4.3. Altheide has games of 10, 10 and 9 points.
