State announces local school grades

CMI Staff

Gov. Susana Martinez today announced the official school grades for 839 public schools in New Mexico. This is the second year under a new grading system that allows officials to consider more than just annual student test scores.

The A-F grading system was developed after the state won a waiver from the federal government to include other factors, such as past test scores, academic growth, attendance and college preparedness.
