Prep volleyball: Elida tops Dora, Floyd falls

The two-time defending Class B state champion Elida Lady Tigers improved to 7-0 for the season on Tuesday night with a 25-14, 25-13, 25-13 win over Dora at Elida.

Elida also won the junior varsity preliminary 25-11, 25-8, while the Lady Coyotes took both junior high matches in two-game sweeps.

Meantime, at Fort Sumner, the host Vixens beat Floyd 25-23, 25-23, 25-8 to improve to 6-2 for the season. The Lady Broncos saw their record drop to 2-6.

Fort Sumner swept the Lady Broncos in preliminary matches, winning the JV clash 25-7, 25-=13 and the junior high contest 25-14, 25-14.
