Floyd (1-4) at Dora (5-2)
• When: 2 p.m. Saturday
• Last year: The teams did not play.
• Last week: The Broncos earned their first win, a 76-64 victory at San Jon. Dora, ranked No. 3 in 6-man, lost to top-ranked Lake Arthur 78-44 at home.
• Of note: This is the season finale for Floyd, which dropped from 8-man to 6-man at the beginning of the season due to lack of numbers. … Broncos coach Steve Foust knows his team is finishing with a challenging game. “We’re getting better every week, but they’re one of the top three teams (in 6-man),” he said. “For us, it’ll be a good game. We’ve played Lake Arthur and Hondo, and this will be another quality (opponent).” … A junior high game is scheduled for 3 p.m. … Coyotes coach Mason McBee was disappointed with last week’s outcome, but still thinks his team will be heard from in postseason. “I feel pretty good about how we played (last week),” he said. “I think we’ll be OK.”
