The holidays are coming early to the Clovis-Carver Public Library with this weekend’s Holiday Showcase presented by the Curry County Extension office.

Glenda Belcher, home economist for the Curry County Extension Office, said she will be giving step-by-step instructions on how to make ornaments, decorations and gifts.

Specific projects include sweater ornaments, pillows and wreaths, upholstery purses, hanging picture frames and burlap banners.

Participants will receive a book containing all of the projects, refreshments and giveaways.

Belcher said Friday’s shows are sold out, but there are still tickets available for Saturday morning, and can be purchased at the Extension office located at 818 Main St.
