Youngsters give thanks

Kids say the darndest things. But sometimes, children are the most honest people in the room.

Students from Lindsey Steiner Elementary and Valencia Elementary offered their thoughts on what they are thankful for:

“I am thankful for my mom, because she provides and cares for me. My dad because he takes me to basketball games. My grandma because she gives me good advice.”

“I am thankful for my baby sister that was adopted two years ago.”

“I am thankful for Jesus because he made the world, he created animals, and the first two people and he left us food. So we should be thanking God for all the things he’s done for us.”

“I’m thankful for Mrs. Garcia. Because she is nice and fun. Mrs. Garcia is like the nicest teacher out of Valencia, because she helps us when we struggle.”
