Last time out: The Hardrockers lost 70-60 Wednesday at West Texas A&M. ENMU lost to Lone Star Conference leader and fourth-ranked Tarleton State 86-64 on Saturday.

Last meeting: The teams played on New Year’s Day at Rapid City, with the Greyhounds posting a 68-63 victory.

Of note: The Hardrockers will be playing their fifth game against LSC competition tonight, having lost at Tarleton State (79-68) on Jan. 4 and at Cameron (55-53) the next day. They’ll visit a former LSC member, Southeastern Oklahoma, on Feb. 18. … Mines has dropped six of its last seven, staring with the game against ENMU. … The Hardrockers were 1-9 in road games before Wednesday. … Mines’ only double-figure scorer is 6-foot-8 senior F Michael Dietz (14.1 ppg). He shoots 53 percent from the field, and also leads the team in rebounding (5.8 rpg). Three others average 8.0 ppg or more. … Entering Wednesday’s game, the Hardrockers were shooting 47.6 percent from the field and 72 percent from the free throw line; their opponents were at 47.6 and 72.1, respectively. … ENMU will finish the regular season with eight LSC games, beginning on Saturday at WT.
