Dora school news — April 29

Progress reports
Progress reports will be issued today for students to take home to parents. The reports show student academic progress through the sixth week of the nine-week final grading period.

Elementary track meet
Dora students in grades third through sixth will be heading to Floyd Wednesday to compete in their annual elementary track meet. The meet runs from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Dora students will depart at 8 a.m. and return at 3 p.m.

Food drive
Dora student Sarah Walker is doing a food drive as a community service project. Students, staff, and community members are encouraged to bring in non-perishable food items to their classroom teacher (or class sponsor, for high school) during the period, through Monday. Donated food will be taken to the food bank for distribution.

• Friday – Dora baseball at Capitan, 2 p.m. doubleheader; District track meet at Fort Sumner.
• Monday – Coyote Pack meeting, 6 p.m., school library.
