Broadway music set for civic center

Clovis Community College’s Cultural Art Series is bringing Broadway to Clovis at 7 p.m. Nov. 8. at the Clovis Civic Center.

David Geist, veteran pianist, will perform a medley of Broadway’s greatest hits with guest singer Kendra Lyons.

Geist has worked on Broadway in a variety of capacities. He has worked as a concert pianist, cabaret performer, composer, conductor and educator. Geist worked on Broadway shows such as Cats, Les Miserables, Miss Saigon, The Lion King, Wicket, The Producers, Passion, Fosse and Sunset Boulevard.

Geist performs regularly at his cabaret room Geist Cabaret in Santa Fe.

Tickets are available at the CCC Cashiers in Room 409, the Cannon Air Force Base Information Tickets and Tours Office, at the door the evening of the performance pending availability, or by calling 769.4035.
