Business Digest: Call center gets magazine award

Clovis’ newest call center, American Medical Alert Corp., has been named among “America’s 200 Best Small Companies” in the October 2007 issue of Forbes magazine.

According to the issue, AMAC ranks 129th overall and 39th in the listing for five-year earnings per share (EPS) growth.

To determine the “200 Best Small Companies,” Forbes selected public companies with revenues between $5 million and $750 million and share prices more than $5 as of Oct. 1.

Also, companies must have sustained sales and net profit growth over twelve-month and five-year periods.
