Dog faces on Facebook

Eastern New Mexico University’s live mascots, Vic and Tory, have entered cyberspace. They have their own page on the university Web site, and they have 676 fans on their Facebook page. Their ENMU Web page has links to the Facebook page, information about the dogs and their care, photo galleries, instructions about donating to the mascots’ care and a form to request their appearance at events. Free music

James Bickley Elementary School first- and second-graders will perform a musical program at 9 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. today in the cafeteria. The show is free.

Daytime: Damp day: Patchy fog and a chance of rain and snow showers in the morning. Slight chance of rain showers in the afternoon. Highs in the mid-40s to low 50s and winds 5-15 mph in the afternoon. New snow accumulation of less than half an inch possible.

Nighttime: Freezing cold: Lows in the mid-20s to lower 30s with west winds of 10-20 mph after midnight.
