Eastern New Mexico University alumnus Manuel A. Sandoval is set to be recognized in the Donate Life float in the Rose Parade, his sister-in-law Susan Nagel said.

Donate Life promotes organ, eye and tissue donation.

Sandoval, 46, died of an aneurysm last November and was an organ donor, according to the Donate Life Rose Parade Float Web site. Sandoval is one of 76 organ donors honored with portraits on the float.

Sandoval was an educator in Stanley for a number of years after graduating from ENMU, according to the Web site.
