Yearbooks orders being taken

Sponsor Karen Cone and the Dora yearbook staff are encouraging everyone to order the 2011-12 yearbook now, while the price is still $45. After Dec. 1, the price will increase to $55.

Early release for students

All Dora students will be dismissed early on Thursday. Buses will run at 12:35 p.m.

JP Stone Tournament

On Thursday, the second annual J. P. Stone Basketball Tournament will begin at the Guy Luscombe Gymnasium.

Schools participating in the three-day tournament will be Clovis Christian (girls), Dora, Elida, Gateway Christian, Grady (boys), Hagerman, NMMI, Springer and Tucumcari.

Games begin at 9 a.m. Thursday with the last game scheduled at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students.

Dora staff and students will be admitted free. Season passes will be honored.

Sports schedule

• Today — Dora Varsity basketball teams host San Jon, 4 p.m.

• Thursday — JP Stone Basketball Tournament here through Saturday.
