I could potentially be an incredibly cheesy person because without fail, no matter how old I get, I still get ridiculously excited about the holidays. But I like to think of it as me just being ‘a kid at heart.’
My family has always been one of those families with multiple corny traditions and I love every single one of them, whether it’s saying what we’re thankful for at the table on Thanksgiving or the fact that without fail, my sisters and I watch “White Christmas” every Christmas Eve as we belt out the Sisters song at the top of our lungs.
It doesn’t matter; I love them all. And I was no less excited about this Thanksgiving because for the first time in years, we are all together at the same time for a holiday. Older and more weather worn or not, chaos and fun never fail to ensue with my family during the holidays.
Speaking of chaos, don’t forget to check out the shopping fun going on in Clovis and Portales for Black Friday. There are some great sales going on at local businesses. Happy Thanksgiving and shopping, Portales.
