The following places will be closed Friday in observance of Veterans Day:

• City offices

• County offices

• Post offices

• Area banks, including American Heritage Bank, High Plains Federal Credit Union, Western Bank of Clovis, Citizens Bank of Clovis, Bank of Clovis, New Mexico Bank and Trust and James Polk Stone Community Bank.

• The Portales News-Tribune office will operate during normal business hours of 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
