New Mexico Gov. Susana  Martinez has appointed a Clovis man to the state’s Veterans’ Advisory Board.

Rev. Donald K. Reid, a U.S. Army veteran, was selected, according to a news release from the governor’s office.

Board members provide advice to the secretary of health and to administrators of the state veterans’ home and the Fort Bayard medical center regarding veterans’ services.
