Federal Reserve presentations

Eastern New Mexico University is hosting an event with Federal Reserve representatives. The El Paso branch of the Dallas Federal Reserve will make a series of presentations today at 3 p.m. in Becky Sharp Auditorium in the College of Business building. A reception will be at 4:45 p.m.

The topic is Crisis, Recession and Recovery: What’s Next for the Economy?

The presentations will cover economic topics related to New Mexico and the border region of the U.S. The presentation is free and open to the public.

Justice League having garage sale

The ENMU Justice League is having a garage sale fundraiser Nov. 29 and is asking for donations, such as, small furniture, knick-knacks, nice clothes, etc. All proceeds are going toward the league’s trip to Washington, D.C.

Students for Equality event

In the spirit of promoting the equal treatment of all persons, Students for Equality invites all employees, students and alumni to the following upcoming event: A Safe Space training and certification, which will be held at 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at the Campus Union Building in the Aztec Room.
