District 67 State Rep. Dennis Roch, R-Tucumcari, plans a visit to eastern New Mexico this week.

His itinerary Thursday includes:

• a 10 a.m. stop at Portales High School to visit students in the “Prep Me” program;

• a noon speaking engagement at the High Plains Patriots’ Tea Party event in front of the Curry County Courthouse:

• and a 2 p.m. tour of the Southwest Cheese plant.

He will talk to Texico High School students 9 a.m. Friday about the legislative process and tour the high school baseball field at 2 p.m.
