The Pintores Art League Spring Fling art show will be on display in the Clovis Community College commons area until April 16.

The Pintores Art League is kicking off its Spring Fling art show Friday at Clovis Community College.

The PAL hosts an annual show of student and professional artwork in the area to give local artists a venue to display their work and allow them a chance to compete against their peers.

Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. entries will be accepted in the Commons at CCC.

The show will be on display at the college through April 16, with a reception and awards announcement April 15 at 6 p.m.

Entries include oil, acrylic watercolor and mixed media paintings, drawings, photography and computer art and three-dimensional work.

“There are many fine artists residing in this area and we, as an organization, are proud to be able to afford them the opportunity and venue to display their work and compete against their peers,” a brochure for the event said.
