A red flag warning is in effect for eastern New Mexico Tuesday.
Relative humidity is 15 percent or lower with sustained winds of 20 miles per hour, with the National Weather Service warning of fire danger.
A release from the NWS said winds will be strong enough to lift loose objects and interfere with large or tall vehicles.
The warning is in effect until 8 p.m.
