Track teams to compete

The Portales junior high track teams will compete today in Hagerman at 2 p.m. and will have their next meet Saturday at home, beginning at 8:30 a.m.

Testing continues

New Mexico Standards Based Assessment testing continues through Friday of this week. Staff recommends students get adequate rest each night, and have a nutritious breakfast each morning. During testing, a free breakfast is offered to every student during first period. Parents are asked to encourage their children to take the tests very seriously.
