• D. Christopher Taylor of the College of Business is set to present papers at the International Council on Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Education conference in San Francisco at the end of the month. One paper is titled “A Case for Selective Marketing: Identifying the Ecological Wine Tourist,” with Nelson Barber of the University of New Hampshire and Cynthia Deale of Eastern Carolina University. The other is “Environmental Knowledge and Attitudes: Influencing the Purchase Decisions of Wine Consumers” with Barber and Sandy Strick of the University of South Carolina.
• Professor of Special Education Michael F. Shaughnessy was asked to review Curtis Bonk’s book “The World is Open: How Educational Technology is Changing Education.” The book review is available at http://innovate-ideagora.ning.com/profiles/blogs/book-review-the-world-is-open.
