Greathouse reunion

The Greathouse reunion held their 53rd get together at the Memorial Building in Portales July 12. There were three clans represented with 47 people attending.

During visitation, scrapbooks were viewed and family histories were exchanged followed by a potluck dinner with the invocation being given by Floretta Wood.

A moment of silence was held for extended family members Dickson, R.T. Toliver and Bernice Kennedy, who have passed away since the last reunion.

Those attending were: Don and Kathy McAlavy from St. Petersburg, Fla., Mary Bowman and Marla Diaz from Abilene, Texas, Elizabeth and Jim Washburn from Keyes, Okla., Hilary Dixon with children Cameron, Brianna and Hannah from Lubbock, Annabelle Greathouse, Mel Greathouse, Martha Mills, Aaron and Angela Alberts with children Jessica and Laurissa, Anthony Nickols, all from Roswell, A.V. and Floretta Wood from Farwell, Sheryl Abdill, Regina Abdill, Joyce Jones with children Taylor and Amber Jones, Kevin Robison, Mike and Cindy Shaughnessy, Richard and Wilma Sartain, Ronald Dickson al from Clovis, Dan and Kathleen Greathouse with sons Calvin and Jake Tayler, Jack and Betty Greathouse, Ross Greathouse, Bill and Debbie Strong, Amanda Kaberlein with sons Isaac and Heath, Phil and Rita Russell, and Celeste Dunn, all of Portales.
