Music professor recognized
Mark Dal Porto, professor of music, received a 2008-2009 ASCAPlus Award in recognition of performances of his music that have taken place this past year.
The award is given annually to composers whose works are judged by an independent panel and based upon the value of each writer’s catalog of original works.
This is the third year in a row that Dal Porto has received this award.
