Sharon Schaffner had 10 kills and two block assists and Katelyn Osborne added six kills and three total blocks Saturday as Texas Woman’s kept Eastern New Mexico University winless in Lone Star Conference volleyball with a 25-20, 25-18, 25-17 victory at Greyhound Arena.

The Pioneers (15-8, 4-2 LSC) led most of the way, taking control of the third game with a 6-0 run fueled by two kills from Schaffner and one from Osborne for a 19-10 lead.

The Zias (6-18, 0-4) were led by nine kills from sophomore outside hitter Veronica Valdez. Junior libero Caitlin Murphy had a match-high 17 digs.

ENMU returns to action on Thursday with an LSC match against Southwestern Oklahoma at Weatherford, Okla.
