Offense

Billy Martin, Texas A&M-Kingsville, Sr. RB, Pittsburg, Texas — Martin, facing a defense allowing less than 70 yards rushing per game, carried 23 times for 178 yards, including a game-clinching 55-yard TD run in the fourth quarter of a 27-16 win over previously unbeaten Tarleton State. On the Javelinas’ second possession of the game, he had a 49-yard run and then made a twisting 18-yard TD reception.

ENMU nomineeJ.J. Harp, Fr. QB — Completed 26 of 49 passes for 192 yards in the Greyhounds’ 25-13 loss at Angelo State. In his two starts, he has completed a total of 62 passes for 391 yards to 11 receivers.

Defense
Tyrrell Herndon, Texas A&M-Kingsville, Sr. DE, Copperas Cove, Texas — Herndon led a defense which limited Tarleton State to 312 yards with 11 tackles, including eight solos and 3 1/2 tackles for loss. The Javs bounced back after giving up more than 600 yards the pervious week against West Texas A&M.
ENMU nominee
Ronald Green, Sr. NT — Made 11 tackles at Angelo STate, including 3 1/2 for losses with 1 1/2 sacks. He also forced two fumbles and helped the defense record three sacks and nine tackles for loss.
Special teams
Cody Smith, Texas A&M-Kingsville, Jr. P, Kingwood, Texas — Smith, one of the top punters in Division II, averaged 46 yards on three punts against Tarleton, including two inside the 20. He pulled off an 18-yard run on a fake punt to keep one drive going, then fielded a bounced snap and gained 13 yards for a first down, setting up the game-clinching TD.
ENMU nominee
Adam Richards, Fr. PK — Booted field goals of 30 and 50 yards against Angelo STate, the latter effort the longest for ENMU since Lee Price connected from 52 yards away against East Central in 2005.

North Division
Offense

Brandon Noohi, Central Oklahoma, Jr. QB, Oklahoma City — Noohi completed 21-of-30 passes for 359 yards and three touchdowns in the Bronchos’ 43-40 win at Southwest Baptist. He also scored on a 2-yard run.
Defense
Cameron Sparks, Southeastern Oklahoma, Sr. CB, Grand Prairie, Texas — Sparks had nine tackles, including eight solos, and also had a pair of interceptions in Southeastern’s 29-21 win at Southwestern Oklahoma.
Special teams
Taylor Fore, Texas A&M-Commerce, Fr. WR, Fort Worth, Texas — Fore blocked two punts in a 38-37 win over Northeastern State, the first resulting in a touchdown and the second setting up a TD.
