Pearson Army National Guard Pvt. Seth G. Pearson has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Ga. Pearson earned the distinction of honor graduate during his training. His nine weeks of training included ceremonies, weapons, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, and Army history, core values and traditions. Pearson is the son of Hank Pearson of Portales and the grandson of Larry Torrez of Roswell.
