Court has new hours New winter hours for Portales Municipal Court, effective Monday, were announced by Municipal Judge Frederick Arnold in a press release. The court will be open 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and closed Fridays. The court is open through the lunch hour. Information: 356-4923. Health coverage fairs set for Wednesday The New Mexico Human Services Department will hold an enrollment fair for its health coverage plans from 2-6 p.m. Wednesday at the Eastern New Mexico University Campus Union Building. The programs included in the enrollment are: State Coverage Insurance, which covers uninsured adults 19-64, New Mexikids, which covers children through 18 years of age; Premium Assistance for Kids (PAK), which covers children to 12 years of age who are part of a sibling group; Premium Assistance for Maternity (PAM), which covers pregnancy-related services for women who are ineligible for Medicaid maternity services due to income. Documents needed to enroll include: proof of child’s identity, Social Security number, original birth certificate, proof of family’s past four weeks of income, proof of other health insurance.
