The following dispositions were recently filed in District Court. • Mark Rodriguez, 19, pleaded guilty to the charge of distribution of marijuana, a fourth-degree felony. He was ordered to serve 18 months supervised probation and sentencing was deferred for 18 months. He was ordered to pay court fines and fees and perform 50 hours of community service. • LaFrederick Waters, 27, pleaded no contest to two counts of trafficking a controlled substance, cocaine, a second-degree felony. He was given a nine-year sentence, which was suspended, and ordered to serve five years probation, pay court fines and fees and complete a substance abuse program. • Daniel Taylor, 48, pleaded guilty to the charge of accessory to shooting at a dwelling. His sentence was deferred for 18 months and he was ordered to serve 18 months probation, pay fines and fees and make restitution. • Angel Viera, 51, pleaded guilty to the charge of distribution of marijuana (first offense). The defendant was ordered to serve 18 months probation and pay fines and fees.
