He is the son of John and Mary Lou Kropp of Portales and the late Brian Burns of Sudan, Texas. The couple will exchange vows at 3 p.m. Nov. 10, 2007, at University Baptist Church in Portales. The reception will follow in the University Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. The bride-elect is a student at Portales High School and employed at Sonic Drive-In. The prospective groom is a 2005 graduate of Floyd High School. He is employed at Sunripe Farms. The ceremony and reception are open to friends and relatives.
