Background: Saucedo is a sophomore at Eastern New Mexico University studying biology. She previously worked in the ENMU math department, grading papers, and at the front desk in Lincoln Hall before it closed.
Q. Describe what your job entails?
A. Giving tours of the new building, answering the phone, signing residents in and monitoring the building.
Q. What is a typical day on the job like for you?
A. I only work two to three hours per day. I sign people in, check the building every 30 minutes to an hour. I have a lot of time to do school work.
Q. Why did you choose this job?
A. My boss used to be the resident assistant in the old dorms and she requested that I work for her.
Q. What type of training do you need for your job?
A. Partners in Training, a two-hour program on job orientation, job edict and rules. The boss shows us how it should go here.
Q. What do you enjoy most about your job?
A. Seeing new people and the time that I get to work on my homework.
