Elderly man accused of threats with toy gun A 62-year-old Clovis man is in jail after police said he threatened a man and two children with a toy gun Wednesday. Raymond Martinez Jr. is being held on $15,500 bond, jail officials said. He is charged with three felony counts of aggravated assault. The two boys told police they were riding their bikes in the 500 block of Sheldon Street when they accidentally crossed into fresh cement on Martinez’ driveway. The boys said Martinez came out of his house and began yelling at them, telling them he was going to kill them, the report said. One of the boys went to get his father and the man told police when they got close to Martinez’ house, he began yelling and pointing a small black revolver at all three of them, threatening to shoot them. Police found the toy gun in the house when they interviewed Martinez, who said he hadn’t pointed a gun at anyone, the report said. Police: Clovis man stabbed during fight A 19-year-old Clovis man was stabbed two times during a fight Tuesday according to a police report.
