Curry County manager Dick Smith has resigned, County Commissioner Robert Sandoval confirmed this morning. Sandoval said he received a call from County Commission Chairman Albin Smith on Thursday, who said Dick Smith had written a letter of resignation. Sandoval said he had no additional information. Attemps to contact Albin Smith and Dick Smith were not immediately successful.
