Q. Describe what your job entails?
A. I do make-overs, which are free. Our motto is “We know how beautiful you can be.”
Q. What is a typical day on the job like for you?
A. Well since I’m the owner I have to see that the clothes are steamed and out, the floors are vacuumed, the shelves are dusted. I make sure everything is in order and pleasing to the customer’s eye.
Q. Why did you choose this profession?
A. I didn’t choose it, I bought it for my daughter-in-law when her and my son first got married. After my son Tim was promoted in his job, they moved to Lubbock. I took over after retiring from the bank.
Q. What type of training do you need for your job?
A. We had to go to Merle Norman school for two weeks in Los Angeles and we had to pass the test on questions about cosmetics before we could buy the franchise.
Q. What do you enjoy most about your job?
A. The people. I always like to meet people. I have many many friends.
