• Activities for Eastern New Mexico University’s homecoming kicked off with a production of the Neil Simon play, Broadway Bound at the University Theater. • “Sports Look” a featured show on KENW-TV Channel 3, featured Eastern New Mexico Greyhound coach Don Carthel and junior free safety Anthony Pertile. During the show, they reviewed footage from the Lone Star Conference game between ENMU and Abilene Christian. Highlights of the Portales Rams victory over New Mexico Military Institute were also shown. • Volunteers from the Community Services Center attended an orientation and training session for the 1989 -90 year to update them on information and services provided by the center.
