Dora Olmsted, 77 Services:>/b> 11 a.m. Saturday at Ballard Funeral Home, Cody, Wyo. Dora Natalie Olmsted, 77, of Powell, Wyo., died Wednesday, March 9, 2005, at her home. She was born on April 2, 1927, near Mesa, to Robert H. and Goldie V. Porter Elliott. She married Gene Olmsted, on March 25, 1960, in Powell, Wyo. She was an accomplished seamstress and quilter and equally as skilled at knitting and crocheting, family members said. Following graduation from nursing school, she worked in Portales. She moved to Cody in 1957, where she became the director of nurses. She also lived and worked in Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Wayne C. Elliott. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Diann K. Kidder (and husband, Fred) of Castle Rock, Colo.; four sons, Mark A. Olmsted (Victoria A.) of Lakewood, Colo.; Andrew J. Olmsted (Patricia A.) of Travis Air Force Base, Calif.; Frederick J. Olmsted (Tracey L.) of Ramona, Calif.; and Richard G. Olmsted of Eagle, Colo.; two brothers, John H. Elliott of Portales and Tommy M. Elliott of Meade, Kan.; eight sisters, Lois W. Cavosos of Stanley, Irene H. Marshall of Las Cruces, Joan F. Goyne of Lubbock, Alice A. Gossett. Betty S. Gossett, R. Rose Rector and Burma L. Stark, all of Portales; and Mary E. Burch of Christianburg, Va.; nine grandchildren, Gregory A. Kidder, Michael L. Kidder, Leilani A. Olmsted, Marquis A. Olmsted, Shawn M. Olmsted, Ryan A. Olmsted, Ronnie Borrelli, Chance L. Olmsted and Trevor J. Olmsted. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Powell, Wyo. Services are under the direction of Ballard Funeral Home of Cody. Funerals Today Tommy Hobbs — 10 a.m. at Portales Cemetery.
