March 13 Faith Triumphant School News

There will be no school on Friday, which marks the start of spring break. School resumes at regular time on March 28. The school Easter party is on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. The egg hunt for kindergarten through fourth grade will be at Triumphant Kids’ Corner. Lori Varnell is the chairperson for the party. Report cards go home Monday. Parents, please view, sign, and return to the school no later than Thursday. Miss Bettine Adams has her students very busy this nine weeks. Her 5-6th grade old world history and geography class is learning about the middle ages. They are building tabletop catapults. The junior high geography class is learning about Western Europe while the 9-10th grade world history class is learning about the effects of the Protestant reformation and the rise of modern nations. The juniors and seniors are working with databases, Power Point, resumes, and spread sheets in Computer Science. The 5-6th grade grammar classes just finished working with nouns and pronouns and letter writing, and they now are starting a unit on adjectives. In reading, they are reading Pilgrim's Progress by John Bunyan.
