Pre-trials for Clifford Baca and Richard Baca were delayed by 9th Judicial Court officials to accomodate judges’ schedules with New Mexico legislators on Monday. The pre-trials were originally scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday for Clifford Baca and 11 a.m. Monday for Richard Baca on Monday. Instead, Clifford Baca’s pre-trail will be at 10 a.m. Thursday and Richard Baca’s 11 a.m. Thursday in the Roosevelt County Courthouse. Clifford Baca, 20, faces one count of first-degree murder, one count of tampering with evidence and contributing to the delinquency of a minor in the death of 19-year-old Amber Robinson. Richard Baca, 18, faces a charge of first-degree murder and two counts of tampering with evidence in the case.
