Transitions Birthdays Oct. 17-23: Alyssa Bargas, Chris Merrick, Tommy McKinney and Shannon Wilson. Festival The Fall Festival will be held at the Elida school gym Saturday, starting around 6 p.m. There will be food and games for all. Come out and share a pleasant evening together. Volleyball Thursday, all teams will play Floyd there at 4 p.m. Oct. 19, all teams will play Ft. Sumner here at 4:30 p.m. Come out and support your team. Around town Cherie Peterson has recently had surgery in Lubbock and is now recovering at home. Others to keep on you prayer list: Tommy McGee, the Graves’ families, Bob Evans, Norman Jordan, those in area nursing homes, our overseas personnel, the leaders of our governments and any others you know that are ill. In general Have you thought about whom to vote for next month. We have an opportunity to have our say so use it. Remember to get your antifreeze checked before the cold weather sets in. We have all enjoyed the recent wet weather. It will sure make the pastures thrive next spring. If you have any news give me a call at 274-6411.
