The Portales Police Department is searching for an armed robbery suspect possibly in his late 20s or early 30s. The suspect robbed the Allsup’s on North Main of $100 on Aug. 15, using a knife or switchblade to commit the crime. Suspect has very short hair, is approximately 5-foot-6-inches tall and has a tattoo on the right side of his neck that reads “Lucero.” Crime stoppers will give a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the subject involved in the robbery.
