Fatal wreck

Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office personnel secure the scene of a car crash. One person was killed and another transported to a Lubbock hospital in a two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 7 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of N.M. 236 (Bethel Highway) and North Avenue O, according to Sheriff Darren Hooker. State police were investigating the accident and had not released details at press time.
