    July 20, 2008 Court Dispositions

    The following dispositions have been filed in Roosevelt County Magistrate Court:


    • Matilda Ruiz, 32, was found guilty of the charge of public affray. She was sentenced to 182 days with the Department of Corrections and must pay court costs and fees.

    • Carmen Contreras, 27, was found guilty of the charge of driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor (first offense). She was sentenced to one year of supervised probation, ordered to attend an ASPEN program, have an ignition interlock device installed on all motor vehicles the defendant has access to for one year and pay court costs and fees.

    • Teresa Barber, 25, was found guilty of the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. She was sentenced to one year of supervised probation, ordered to attend an ASPEN program and pay court costs and fees.

    • Loremzo Exiga, 21, pleaded guilty to the charge of driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor (first offense). He was sentenced to one year of supervised probation, ordered to attend an ASPEN program, have an ignition interlock device installed on all motor vehicles the defendant has access to for one year and pay court costs and fees.

    • Joshua L. Madrigal, 20, pleaded guilty to the charge of resisting, evading and obstructing an officer. He was sentenced to one year of supervised probation, ordered to attend an ASPEN program and pay court costs and fees.

    • Ruben Muro, 26, was found guilty of the charge of possession of marijuana less than one ounce and concealing identification. He was sentenced to six months of supervised probation, ordered to attend an ASPEN program and pay court costs and fees.
