Thursday morning briefing: Izzy's still running (and car dreams)

Good morning. Welcome to Freedom New Mexico’s Thursday morning briefing.

 

Running for national attention

Izzy Miranda, who graduated from Clovis High School last year after breaking records for long-distance running, is continuing his success at Lubbock Christian University: He has qualified for the national NAIA cross country championships.

Something to do:

Zia Elementary School students are holding their annual science fair. Anyone interested is welcome to look at their projects. (Just check in with the office first.)

Jenna Zamie, a copy editor for the Clovis News Journal and Portales News-Tribune, spends much of her free time playing video games.

What is it? A more pop-centric entry in the rhythm genre aimed more at teens and tweens than Guitar Hero.
