Random Acts of Kindness:
The Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors are planning to host their first “Random Acts of Kindness” campaign during the week of Christmas.
They intend to visit different supermarkets and give away money to help pay for groceries, according to the chamber Web site. The recipients of the money are to be selected at random.
“With Christmas approaching, there are a lot of people in need and the chamber Ambassadors want to randomly brighten the holidays for some local families,” chamber Executive Director Ernie Kos said on the Web site.
According to the Web site, the Ambassadors raised money throughout the year and contributed from their own pockets for a group holiday outreach project. They voted at their November meeting to make the random acts of kindness that project.
The Ambassadors are the chamber’s public relations and membership relations committee.
