School update
Cameo Elementary School is hosting a workshop called Financial Football 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. It is a family financial workshop for kids and parents.
Food for a good cause
On Thursday, 10 percent of all sales at both Clovis locations of Leal’s Mexican Restaurant are earmarked for the United Way of Eastern New Mexico, according to a news release from United Way.
The organization is still approximately $50,000 away from the amount raised last year, according to the release. The money raised helps support programs and activities that serve people in Curry and Roosevelt counties.
Leal’s restaurants are located at 3100 E. Mabry Drive and 2115 N. Prince St.
