Press release: Maple Street construction project begins this week

The City of Portales will be conducting street and drainage improvements on Maple Street from
North Main Street to North Abilene Avenue in Portales, NM beginning the week of September
5th, 2010. The curb and gutter improvement project phase on Maple Street is scheduled to be
completed in approximately 45 calendar days. The prime contractor on the project is I.M.M.
Construction, Inc. The project is being funded by a grant from the New Mexico Department of
Transportation Project No. SP-GA-4648 (202). Please exercise caution when traveling through
this project area.
